The iGEM Jamboree happens every year in November. Unlike last year, our team is refraining from the competition this November in preparation for the Fall 2019 Jamboree. It is the first year that our team is running as solely undergraduates, and thus we have been working extremely hard since last Fall in order to increase team literacy in topics of Synthetic Biology such as plasmid and primer design, choosing parts, and setting up experiments and protocols. That being said, we are using our existing funding to create a project this
summer that we are working on! We likewise have still been active in the iGEM community by reaching out to UPV iGEM in Valencia, Spain to understand how we can better our team logistics and create a lasting program at Delaware. Stay tuned to see how the summer research goes!
